Carter Cottage vacation Rental
The Carter Cottage is nestled between our Bell Cottage and Carter House, pairing the privacy of a vacation rental with the luxurious amenities of an inn.
This renovated Victorian cottage features a large king-size bed and a Jacuzzi tub for 2 as well as a large private patio with views of the marina. Perfect for entertaining, the Carter Cottage is a dynamic choice that is just as perfect for hosting a private dinner party as it is for a quiet romantic getaway.
My husband and I spent our 12th wedding anniversary at the Carter House Inn in October 2013. We were lucky enough to get the Carter Cottage, an absolutely adorable place, custom-made for a romantic get-away: double Jacuzzi tub, two fireplaces, comfy bed, full kitchen, big back deck. It was perfect in every way. The complimentary breakfast is fabulous — fresh-baked everything, and something different every day.
Everything is within walking distance of all the cool boutiques in Eureka, and easily drivable to all the local attractions: redwood forest, Avenue of the Giants, Trinidad Beach. Can’t say enough good things about this place! Highly recommend!”

Bell Cottage Vacation Rental
Our Bell Cottage lets you feel at home, offering a beautiful shared living space and full kitchen available for use. This 3-bedroom cottage features 2 Queen bedrooms and 1 Double bedroom, each with a stunning marble Jacuzzi tub for 2. Both Queen bedrooms feature a cozy in-room fireplace, allowing guests a quiet space to unwind.
We stayed here one night - our 30th anniversary - during a three-week driving trip down the Pacific Coast Highway, We stayed in the Bell Cottage, which is across the street from the main hotel.
It’s basically a one-bedroom “home,” complete with kitchen, dining area, living room, bath and a half, and a large deck off the back. We appreciated the gift of wine to help us celebrate.
